El Comtat Archeology and Ethnology Museum

This house that keeps the museum facilities, dates from tne mid-XIII century. In the XV century it was remodelled, and in the XVIII century was totally refurbished, to become a bourgeoisie house. Some decorative elements on the façade, and other interesting architectural elements still survive.

With original elements of the house, items and tools, the ethnology room shows the traditional wheat, olive trees, and vine farming, and the traditional methods to produce flour, olive oil and wine.

In the archeology room, silex, bone and antler tools are shown, with different work techniques and chronology.

In the area dedicated to prehistory, pieces from the region are shown. They are from the lower paleolithic until bronze age. Some items from the Iberian and roman cultures can be seen here.

In the noble room, other pieces from de medieval period are exhibited, with a great pottery collection.
